We are delighted to be back at Godwick Great Barn for this years Norfolk Christmas Fair!

Taking place on Wednesday the 13th and Thursday the 14th of November 2024 we’ll host 30 stalls, brimming with Christmas presents, treats and stocking fillers

Entry to both Wednesday (4-8pm) and Thursday (9am-3pm) is £5 on the door.

All the proceeds of the entry, cake stall, tombola and raffle tickets go to Thornage Hall. Please help us raise much needed funds.

Thornage Hall Independent Living

30 years of providing supported living accommodation for adults with learning disabilities located in the beautiful surroundings of the Thornage Hall estate.

The community runs a biodynamic farm which provides food for those living on the estate; food is also sold to local organic outlets.

Converted farm buildings have become studios offering a range of craft, IT and artistic activities.

How to find Godwick Barn and Great Hall

From Norwich direction:

  • Join A47 towards Swaffham; exit the A47 at Dereham Tesco junction (signed B1135) •

  • At roundabout at end of slip road, take 3rd exit and continue straight until you bear left at the war memorial to leave Dereham town market place by ‘The George’ pub

  • Immediately turn right (signed Fakenham B1146)

  • Continue for 2 miles and turn left (signed Fakenham and Beetley B1146)

  • Continue for 5 miles to a staggered cross roads and go right, then immediately left to continue on the B1146 (signed Fakenham)

  • After about a mile you will pass a sign for ‘Horningtoft’, take the next left (signed Whissonsett and Horningtoft) called Brisley Road

  • Continue straight and you will reach Whissonsett village, continue through the village and you will reach a left turn called Mill Lane (signed Tittleshall and Litcham)

  • Continue for a further mile on this minor road and you will see the drive for Godwick Hall and Great Barn on your left.

From Kings Lynn direction:

  • Join A47 towards Swaffham; exit the A47 at the Swaffham EcoTech centre wind turbine

    to join the A1065 towards Fakenham and Cromer

  • After about 61⁄2 miles turn right at a staggered crossroads (signed Bawdeswell and

    Litcham B1145)

  • Continue for 4 miles and in the village of Litcham you will come to a crossroads with

    ‘The Bull’ pub in front of you, turn left and follow the road up the hill (signed Tittleshall

    2 miles)

  • Continue through the village of Tittleshall and about 1 mile after you leave the village

    turn right (signposted Godwick)

  • After about 1⁄2 mile on this minor road the drive to Godwick Hall and Great Barn is on

    the right.

From Fakenham direction:

  • Join A1065 towards Swaffham

  • At the end of a long straight there is a very sharp right hand bend, bear left here

    (signed Pudding Norton)

  • Continue straight for about 4 miles passing two crossroads (signed Litcham)

  • About 1⁄2 mile from the last crossroads take the left turn (signed Godwick) on to a

    minor road

  • After a further 1⁄2 mile the drive to Godwick Hall and Great Barn is on your right.
